Kalanchoe is a family of about 140 species which are widespread through Africa and Madagascar. It is a greatly diverse and variable group of plants. Ranging in size from groundcovers to large growing shrubs. Their interesting foliage is varied in size, shape, colour, patterning and texture. The mostly, bell-like flowers are in a wide range of colours. Kalanchoes are easy to care for and are an excellent waterwise and low maintenance addition to your garden or succulent collection. They also make good container subjects and some varieties will also grow well indoors in bright light conditions.
