DIY Driftwood planted with Earth Stars
What you will need:

Suitable piece of driftwood
Quality African Violet potting soil
Decorative moss, bark or pebbles
And….

A selection of Cryptanthus plants

Step 1:
Fill potting area with potting soil. African Violet potting soil works particularly well for Cryptanthus. They thrive in a loose and porous growing medium.

Step 2:
Arrange and plant the Cryptanthus into the piece of driftwood.

Step 3:
Cover the surface of potting soil with decorative moss or bark chips.

Step 4:
Give a light watering to settle in the newly planted plants.
You now have a growing décor masterpiece for sure.
Your creation will add an exotic feel to your garden or indoor/outdoor living area.
Place in a warm, well–lit, semi-shaded area.
Avoid direct sunlight, especially during the hottest part of the day.

After care:
Cryptanthus grow best when the growing medium is kept slightly moist. Never allow the potting soil to dry out completely.
Watering frequency should be reduced slightly during the cold winter months.
Apply a dilute solution of a water-soluble, balanced fertiliser during the spring and summer months at monthly intervals.
