Soil: They require a light and airy, free draining soil. The addition of compost or fine pine bark to the planting area is recommended.
Potting: Use a good quality bark based potting soil.
Watering: Water your plant thoroughly and wait for your plant to start drying out before watering again. Never leave your plant standing in water for any length of time. Always pour off the excess water that has collected in the drip tray after watering.
Temperature: Best grown in minimum winter temperatures of above 5 degrees Celsius.
Fertiliser: Apply a balanced water soluble fertiliser at ¼ – ½ of the recommended strength once a month in spring and summer.
The plant is currently growing either in a 12 cm or 15 cm plastic pot. Although our plants are grown under the same conditions and we carefully handpick your plant to ensure the best quality possible, no two plants are identical.
