Allow the top 1 cm of the potting soil to start drying out between waterings.
Prolonged dryness will be detrimental to the overall health of the plant.
However, avoid keeping the soil water logged.
Humidity:
Enjoys a humid environment and will benefit from regular misting.
Potting soil:
Ensure a good quality free draining potting soil.
Fertiliser:
Apply a very dilute solution of a water-soluble, balanced fertiliser once a month from spring to autumn.
